Bendigo Art Gallery Children’s Music Session

Come and immerse yourself and your child/children in the joy of a music playgroup session inspired by the life and art of Frida Kahlo.

This free session will take place at Bendigo Art Gallery on Thursday 7th Feb, 2019 and will be inclusive of learning a Mexican children’s song, learning about what animals come from Mexico, playing with soft toys, parachute, body movements and not forgetting singing and using instruments!

Taradale Mineral Springs Festival

Come join me again this year on 10th March at the Taradale Mineral Springs Festival for an African Drumming Circle for all ages! You’ll learn to play the djembe for a key West African rhythm as well as learn a song or two, join in on the shakers and if you’re adventurous, maybe even some movement and dancing!

Children’s music ep

Lena has spent the summer beginning the process of recording many of the children’s songs that she has written for her music workshops. These songs will help children with their early literacy and numeracy as well as emotional regulation and growth mindset. The album will be available for purchase in the second half of 2019.
